Finesse USA came in with a product and a brief. No website, no brand, no logo, no content. The work covered everything from building the visual identity to writing every line of copy on a full Squarespace build — homepage, about, projects, contact, and 404.
Branding started with the logo. A lowercase serif wordmark to communicate elegance and premiumness from the first glance, supported by a star element to reinforce trust and high-end positioning. The kind of mark that needed to look like it had been around for years on day one.
The main challenge was two audiences with different priorities. Architects and interior designers care about process and precision. Owners and developers care about scale and trust. A site that tries to talk to both at once usually ends up speaking to neither. The solution was structuring content around outcomes and use cases instead of products, so each audience could find their entry point without the site feeling split.
Credibility was the other problem. The brand was new but their clients were not — these are people signing off on $75k–$250k projects. The copy and design had to feel established from line one. Technical specificity, project references, and a tone that matched the industry did most of that work.
